<p>El presente trabajo consiste en la traducción comentada del artículo científico Absent congenital pedicle nearly misdiagnosed as a facet dislocation: A case report de la revista Interdisciplinary Neurosurgery: Advanced Techniques and Case Management y la elaboración de un comentario crítico del proceso de traducción y los problemas con sus respectivas soluciones. En el capítulo 1, se presenta la contextualización del trabajo y del texto fuente -TF- y su elección, además de una breve descripción del concepto "encargo de traducción". En el capítulo 2, se analiza en profundidad el TF, tomando en cuenta los factores extratextuales e intratextuales propuestos por Nord -1991, en Hurtado Albir, 2013-, además de otros factores no incluidos en estas categorías. En el capítulo 3, se menciona detalladamente el proceso de traducción, desde la lectura del TF hasta la edición del texto meta -TM-. Finalmente, en el capítulo 4, se explicaron y clasificaron los problemas de traducción, además de las técnicas de traducción que se utilizaron para solucionarlos, todo bajo la propuesta de Hurtado Albir -2013-</p>
<p>This project consists of the annotated translation of the paper titled `absent congenital pedicle nearly misdiagnosed as a facet dislocation: A case report` by the magazine Interdisciplinary Neurosurgery: Advanced Techniques and Case Management and the production of a critical comment of the translation process and the problems with their solutions. In chapter 1, the context of the project is provided and the source text -ST- and the reasons for its choice are presented along with a brief description of `translation brief`. Next, in chapter 2, the ST is analyzed thoroughly, considering the extratextual and intertextual factors proposed by Nord -1991, en Hurtado Albir, 2013-. In chapter 3, the translation process is mentioned in detail, spanning from reading the ST to the translation`s editing. In chapter 4, the translation problems and techniques are explained and classified according to Hurtado Albir`s -2013- proposal</p>
