<p>El estudiante doblemente excepcional es aquel que presenta la co-ocurrencia de una Necesidad Específica de Apoyo Educativo (NEAE) junto a la cualidad de Talento Académico (Bailey y Rose, 2011). Aunque este grupo ha sido ampliamente estudiado en Estados Unidos, en Chile este grupo no se había caracterizado hasta la asignación del FONDECYT regular Nº 1151030, en el que está inserto este estudio. Por tanto, ya identificados los estudiantes en la primera fase, se ha propuesto interpretar la resignificación del vínculo que los docentes establecen con los estudiantes que han sido identificados como doblemente excepcionales. Para esto se ha hecho un estudio cualitativo de enfoque interpretativo de dos casos de alumnos doblemente excepcionales: uno con Trastorno de Espectro Autista (TEA) y otro con Trastorno de Déficit de la Atención (TDA). A partir del análisis y discusión de los datos obtenidos de Entrevistas y Notas de Campo, se obtuvieron conclusiones referidas al grado de relevancia de la identificación de la doble excepcionalidad para el vínculo profesor-estudiante y a los factores sociales y familiares que influyen sobre los vínculos de los profesores con sus estudiantes</p>
<p>The twice exceptional student is the one that shows a special educational need as well as an Academic Talent (Bailey y Rose, 2011). Even though this group of students has been widely studied in the United States, in Chile they have not been characterized until the assignation of the regular FONDECYT project Nº 1151030, in which this study is included. Then, having identified the students in the first stage of this project, it has been proposed to interpret the resignification of the bond that teachers establish with their students who have been identified as twice exceptional. Pursuing this objective, a qualitative study with an interpretative focus has been made around two cases of twice exceptional students: one with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and another with Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD). Given the analysis and discussion of the data collected on interviews and field notes, conclusions about the relevance of the identification of the twice exceptionality for the bond between teacher and student and the social and family factors that influence this bond, were obtained</p>
