| Resumen | dc.description | <p>Los fanfickers son personas aficionadas a un objeto mediático y escriben historias relacionadas con aquel producto, denominadas fanfictions. Para clasificar sus obras, la comunidad de fanfickers emplea una jerga compuesta principalmente por préstamos lingüísticos anglosajones, pese a que existen equivalentes en español. Esta jerga no solamente sirve para clasificar los fanfictions en géneros, extensión, contenidos, relaciones entre personajes y representación de personajes, sino que también representa un vehículo de identificación con la comunidad. Por consiguiente, el objetivo de esta investigación es identificar la lengua de preferencia utilizada por los fanfickers hispanos del grupo de pop coreano BTS para etiquetar sus obras y determinar las razones sociolingüísticas de su preferencia. Para ello, se ha diseñado un estudio exploratorio-descriptivo de carácter mixto con un cuestionario, donde se presentaron doce términos anglosajones junto con sus respectivos equivalentes en español y los participantes debían tanto seleccionar la alternativa de su preferencia como asociar su decisión a dieciséis afirmaciones según parámetros lingüísticos, de uso y de actitudes. Este cuestionario se aplicó a una muestra de veintiocho fanfickers pertenecientes a la plataforma Wattpad. Los resultados del estudio demuestran una evidente preferencia por el uso del inglés, aunque alrededor del 13 por ciento de los escritores emplean términos en español. | Resumen | dc.description | <p>Fanfickers are people who are fond of a media object and write stories related to that product, called fanfictions. To classify their works, the fanficker community uses a jargon composed mainly of Anglo-Saxon linguistic borrowings, although there are Spanish equivalents. This jargon not only serves to classify fanfictions into genres, length, contents, relationships between characters and characters’ representation, but also represents an identifying vehicle with the community. Therefore, the objective of this research is to identify the preferred language used by the Hispanic fanfickers of the Korean pop group BTS to label their works and determine the sociolinguistic reasons of their preference. In order to accomplish this purpose, an exploratory-descriptive mixed study was designed with a questionnaire, in which twelve Anglo-Saxon terms were presented together with their respective Spanish equivalents and the participants had to select the option of their preference as well as associate their decision with sixteen statements according to linguistic, use and attitude parameters. This questionnaire was applied to a sample of twenty-eight fanfickers who belong to the platform named Wattpad. The results of the study show a clear preference for the use of English, although around 13 per cent of the writers use terms in Spanish.
