| Resumen | dc.description | <p>Esta investigación busca comprender cómo participa el subsistema fraternal en la construcción subjetiva del género de hermanas y hermanos, considerando la importancia de las relaciones fraternas y familiares en la socialización. Desde una metodología cualitativa, se realizan entrevistas semiestructuradas a tres duplas de hermanos de distinto género, analizadas por medio de un análisis categorial de contenido. Se concluye que los hermanos participan activamente en el proceso de subjetivación del género, tornándose relevante su proximidad como favorecedora de la transmisión de roles de género, aunque manteniendo entre ellos relaciones de verticalidad que se evidencian en incongruencias entre discurso y práctica. | Resumen | dc.description | <p>This study seeks to understand how the fraternal subsystem participates in the subjective construction of the gender of brothers and sisters, considering the importance of fraternal and family relationships in socialization. Using a qualitative methodology, three semi-structured interviews were conducted with three pairs of siblings of different gender, interviews which were analyzed by categorical content analysis. Results show that siblings have an active participation in the process of gender subjectivation, where their proximity favours the transmission of gender roles, though maintaining vertical relations between them which become evident in inconsistencies between discourse and practice.
