| Resumen | dc.description | <p>La lucha de un grupo de hombres por mantener la relación con sus hijos tras la separación/divorcio, nos ha motivado a reflexionar sobre el lugar, que como sociedad, le hemos dado al padre en las familias. Producto del cambio de significado de paternidad y las voces de estos padres comprometidos, en el año 2013 se promulga la ley 20.680, la cual cambia la forma que entendemos la custodia, considerando el “interés superior del niño” como su principio rector. En este contexto, decidimos buscar los significados de paternidad que construyen padres separados/divorciados, comprometidos en la crianza de sus hijos, con el cambio legal como marco. Para ello utilizamos entrevistas semiestructuradas y análisis de contenido.La imagen que construyen los participantes, fue la de un padre presente que se posiciona como modelo, y se concibe responsable tanto físico como emocional de sus hijos. A su vez los entrevistados se perciben en su rol como padres separados como vulnerables al interior de un país donde su participación está restringida después de la separación/divorcio</p> | |

Product of the change of meanings and the voices of this fathers, in 2013 the 20.680 law was enacted, changing the form that we understand the custody, because “the best interests of the child”. With this in mind, we decide to search about the meaning that divorced fathers who are committed with the raising of their children give to the fatherhood, considering the legal change through four Semi Structured Interviews and Content Analysis.
