| Resumen | dc.description | <p>En China se subtitulan los contenidos audiovisuales con el fin de llegar a un país con más de mil trescientos millones de habitantes y donde se hablan más de 80 dialectos. En consecuencia se puede acceder mediante internet a un volumen importante de vídeos que tienen incrustados subtítulos. Estos subtítulos si bien cumplen su función original de tener informada a una población, el uso de estos puede tener otras aplicaciones. En el presente proyecto, incentivado por reducir la tasa de deserción de estudiantes hispanohablantes en el aprendizaje de chino mandarín, se propone la realización de un prototipo de Software Educativo que permita la adquisición de nuevo vocabulario. La particularidad de la propuesta es la utilización de un nuevo concepto, Subtítulos Inteligentes.En este proyecto se han elaborado y contrastado dos métodos de extracción de subtítulos incrustados. Posteriormente se ha diseñado e implementado un prototipo de software educativo en el cuál los estudiantes puedan interactuar con estos subtítulos. | Resumen | dc.description | <p>In China, audiovisual content is subtitled to reach a population of three hundred million inhabitants in a country in which more than 80 dialects are spoken. Therefore, people can access to an important amount of videos with subititles via internet. Although subtitles fulfill their original function of keeping the population informed, their use can also have other applications.The purpose of this project, which is motivated to reduce the dropout rate of Spanish-speaking students who learn Mandarin Chinese, is to create a prototype of an educative software in which students can acquire new vocabulary. The special characteristic of this proposal is to use a new concept: smart subtitles. In this project, two methods for extracting embedded subtitles have been elaborated and calibrated. Later, a prototype of an educative software has been designed and implemented in which students can interact with these subtitles. Finally, a study has been conducted with the objective of measuring the new acquired vocabulary and analyzing the efficacy of the proposal</p> | |
