The present project of title exposes the incoherent artificial optical radiations, giving information on these and how they are classified according to their bandwidth in the different existing sub-bands. Optical radiations directly affect the target organs that are the eyes and the skin, and consequently a study is presented for the different damages or diseases that these organs present from the radiation exposure. In the study of the damages perceived by the target organs, it is specifically detailed which are the bandwidths that affect for the different damages and which is the length of the specific ode that affects them. Identifying how it absorbs and transmits the different wavelengths in the eyes and skin. The limits of exposure to optical radiation are presented, as established by Directive 2006-25-EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of April 5, 2006, with respect to the limits, each bandwidth is analyzed as appropriate for the different bodies and present damages. Because the wavelengths are absorbed and transmitted differently for the organs, the weighting curves are established, which make exact reference for the different damages mentioned. After the study, the impact of the study of photobiological risks is identified by identifying certain classification tendencies according to the method used to perform the test established by the UNE-EN 62471 standard. Given the above, the LED light sources must be classify as general use sources, avoiding the uncertainty of which type of test is appropriate to execute and this being the most demanding, usually this type of sources tends to be dangerous in the blue range of the visible spectrum given its physical composition for produce light There is no great danger in the ultraviolet and infrared ranges, given zero or minimal presence of energy in these bands
