<p>The next document, represent the development related to the student´s work at project’s subjects I and II. The purpose of this research is first, the integration of radio´s frequency modules -XBee- with the mini-computer, the Raspberry Pi. As well, by means of the usage of sensors, the student makes use of this technology´s association in the form of a temperature monitor. By doing an analysis around the state of art from the assortment of devices in the market, will be determined the characteristics and attributes that they own. On one side, as mentioned earlier, Raspberry Pi is a small computer that performs all the functions that a desktop Pc may process, besides has pin headers for various tasks. For his part, XBee are small blue chips formed by a microcontroller, a transmitter and a radio frequency receiver. Its main function falls on granting a way for interconnection and communication between devices. Adding sensors or shields expand the primaries functionality in the mini-computer, generating a new means on technology called -internet of things-. This makes reference about a connected world, where objects and human beings interact in virtual data´s environment, in the same space and time. The main purposes coming from the internet of things is measure and controls completely our surrounding, through the information extracted from the millions of sensors integrated in our daily life. Thereupon, will be exhibited the mechanism used by the pupil, with an explanation about setup and programs utilized during the project, in order to fulfil the student´s main objective. Finally, will be highlighted a small economics evaluation, simulating the setting-up and programming of a temperature monitoring system</p>
