| Resumen | dc.description | <p>El presente trabajo de investigación es un estudio exploratorio – descriptivo de la importancia de la calidad del material bibliográfico existente en la Biblioteca Monseñor Gimpert de la Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso, como recurso de apoyo a la formación de los estudiantes de pregrado de la carrera de Contador Auditor. El objetivo general es aportar antecedentes investigativos a la evaluación interna de la calidad de los recursos bibliográficos que ofrece la Biblioteca Monseñor Gimpert, así como destacar su incidencia en la formación profesional de los Contadores Auditores de dicha Institución. Con el fin de generar un marco contextual que permita abordar la temática, se incluye una reseña histórica de la Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso, del Sistema de Biblioteca, y de la carrera de Contador Auditor. Para obtener la información requerida, se utilizó la Escala de LIKERT con 33 ítemes donde se consulta sobre el material bibliográfico y la satisfacción que perciben los alumnos. Se aplicó a 70 alumnos de la carrera de Contador Auditor. Luego, se procedió a analizar la información recogida. A partir de este análisis se ofrecen algunas conclusiones y sugerencias que contribuyan a promover el mejoramiento de la calidad del material bibliográfico presente en la Biblioteca Monseñor Gimpert con respecto al área que involucra a la carrera de Contador Auditor</p> | |
| Resumen | dc.description | <p>The present investigation consists of an exploratory – descriptive study on the importance of the quality of the bibliographic material existing in the Monseñor Gimpert Library of the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso, this working as a supportive resource for the students from the Auditor / Accountant program. The general aims of this study are to contribute with investigative antecedents for the inver evaluation of the bibliographic resources quality that this Monseñor Gimpert Library offers, and also to emphasize on the effect that these resources have on the professional training of the Auditor / Accountant program students from the institution already mentioned. Having in mind the purpose of generating a contextual back – ground that make possible to deal with this topic, a historical report about the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso was included, along with one about the Library System and the Auditor / Accountant program. To gather the required information, the LIKERT SCALE was used divided in 33 items with the purpose of asking the students about the bibliographic material and their degree of satisfaction. The scale was applied on 70 students of the Auditor / Accountant program. After that, the information picked up was analyzed. Finally from this analysis, some conclusions and suggestions were offered, all these with the implicit intention of contributing, and thus, promoting the improvement of the quality of the bibliographic material in the Monseñor Gimpert Library, especially regarding the area that involves the Auditor / Accountant program</p> | |
