| Resumen | dc.description | <p>En los últimos años, se ha producido un incremento en la actividad pesquera extractiva de algas pardas, intensificando el esfuerzo de pesca y disminuyendo los stocks de las praderas naturales, es por esto, que se genera la necesidad de cultivar estas algas y así, preservar el recurso en el tiempo. Se recopiló información del cultivo de Macrocystis integrifolia ubicado en Bahía Inglesa, III región y se analizó estadísticamente. En el estudio, se identificaron diferentes métodos de siembra y se realizó un cuadro comparativo de crecimiento de longitud, crecimiento en peso, biomasa y rendimiento por tiempo total de siembra y por día de vida. Se determinó que el crecimiento en relación a peso, longitud de las plantas y rendimiento es relativamente mayor al aplicar el método helicoidal en sus dos materiales de fijación. Sin embargo, se obtienen mayores retornos de biomasa cuando la disposición del cabo es lineal, aunque con alta dispersión en los datos. Finalmente, se concluyó que no existe evidencia significativa para determinar el método de siembra que entrega los mejores rendimientos en esta localidad</p> | |
