Behavior of the bosso filter and its applications to mammogram

Abstract

In this work, the results of the behavior of Bosso Filter are presented. The filter depends on the different values of parameters a and, characteristics of the Bosso Filter. When the discrete equation is obtained, a third parameter N appears. This parameter corresponds to the number of pixels in the kernel. A possible application is mammography for breast's cancer detection. To analyze the behavior of the filter, IDL Software is used on two dimensional images, to observe useful regions of operation. © IFAC.
